Our Mission
My mom, Kristine Hansen, was the bravest, kindest, and most loving person I’ve ever known. She brought joy, laughter, and warmth into every room — and showed unbelievable strength throughout her fight against cancer. Even during the hardest moments, she faced each day with courage, grace, and a smile. Losing her has left an unfillable space in my life, but I carry her spirit with me every day.
Kristine left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. Her friends, family, and loved ones continue to feel her love, her light, and the example she set through her kindness and strength. The memories she created — and the way she made people feel — will never be forgotten.
The Kristine Hansen Hope Foundation was born out of love — and a good friend’s idea to turn our grief into something powerful. Our mission is to honor Kristine’s legacy by supporting others in their fight against cancer. We raise funds for the Miami Cancer Institute’s Research & Innovation Fund, helping give patients access to advanced treatments, groundbreaking clinical trials, and compassionate care — just like the care my mom received.
This foundation is more than a tribute. It’s a promise — to keep Kristine’s light shining, and to help create a future where more families have hope, more patients have options, and more stories end in survival. Every dollar raised brings us closer to that future.
